One of the main activities of the academy is to train deserving students in bharathanatya, music, dance theory and martial arts. The students who have received training have received scholarships from the Central govt, state govt and the Karnataka Sangeetha Nruthya Academy, have won prizes in various inter school, inter collegiate and state level competitions. 

The classes are conducted at the main office at Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore. Classes in Bharathanatya are held every evening and during the weekends. Music, dance theory and martial arts classes are held only during the weekends. 

Pulikeshi and Sushma also teach Bharathanatya at Kenshri School Hebbal. The students study dance as a regular subject along with their academics. 

Prasanna Kasthuri conducts Bharathanatya and Kathak classes at St.Louis, Missouri during the weekends.
